Hi Friday July 30

Hi Friday July 30th before a long weekend.
And what a productive day you were.
Thank goodness it was payday.
I tried to get canning label stickers printed but that pretty much won't work. I went to the bank and bought dog food at buy one get one 50% off! So that was $130.
I went to Hofsteads and bought peaches to can and beans to pickle. I wanted to roast red peppers but they were all hot house darn it.
I canned 4-500s of peaches and 3 quarts of pickles.
I also finised by apron today. I made it about as hard as I possibly could, this one took me about 4 hours, if i do it again i think i could do it in one.
For dinner I made grilled pizza with homemade pesto, mozzerella, fresh local tomatoes, and chili peppers. Declicous!
Shane and I went for a walk after dinner in the beautiful warm summer air, it was a beautiful night.
I spent $25 a Hofsteads and $35 at Pricemart. and $4 at decades for frozen lemonades on our walk

Gosh is two days up already?

Don't remember if I bought anything...cherries from hofsteads for our hike $4.
Natasha, Shane, Butter and I set out to do Vedder mountain. I forgot to read the directions in advanced and noticed slightly before hand, after it was to late that it said "4x4 recommended" it should have read "monster truck mandatory"
There was NO WAY our car could make it. We walked 2.5 km uphill to the start of the train. 2 km in however shane backed out...poor tash. We did the 5.5 km up the hill, had lunch and did the 8.5 back down (because shane didn't bother coming up at all to pick us up...the car couldn't take it)

After this we all went home and showered, we were sooo dehydrated . Shane slept (after we fought) and I went to the store for dinner (hotdogs, that were so! good! I hadn't had a bbqed hotdog for years) and corn and elderflower spritzers.

Grandma and grandpa had invited us over to talk about buying their house from them through a rent-to-own but it wasn't going to work out for us because of shane going back to school. Then we brought tash home and she and i left for island 22....

We had planned to camp in a field off island 22 but upon arrival saw that it was taken over by cows so we chose instead to camp in a field just off the path. It was really gorgeous, and the sun setting and stars and the sound of the wind in the trees were just so amazing!
The moon woke me up it was so bright shining through the trees. We woke up around 7 and left right away. We went out for breakfast at the wellington which wasn't very good but not to bad either. $32 Went and hung out with mom and then went and found some really pretty fabric for an apron, to reupholster the office chair and for cushion covers all for $35! I came home and started sewing the apron. Basically I suck by making the whole project way to hard.

At 2:30 I went and got my hair cut $32.

When shane came home we went to the Abbotsford Agrifair which was a nice date, quite expensive but fun. $ 45

On our way home shane made me stop at micheals and we bought a embroidery pillow case that I saw in the states but didn't buy (for $10!) This whole project cost $35. OMG I almost had a heart attack but he insisted. We drove home and caught poops on the couch (grr) and then went for a really nice walk where it was decided that not all tattoos are retarded as I previously thought shane thought.

Shane and I had the morning off together. So nice to actually wake up next to my husband.
Made some coffee did some house work. Went for a nice, warm, walk with shane and butter.
I went to the store for a mat for a picture frame which is now hanging in the bathroom...finally.
We made plans for a hike with Natasha tomorrow and I bought some food for it.
Shane made an omelette for lunch and we cuddled until he left for work. I'll be leaving soon for work too.
I found an awesome project to try, nailing patterns into old tin cans and putting a candle inside. I just need to find some cans. I also want to make this project. I need to find a clip board fist
Some pictures of our walk.
My favourite garden in Chilliwack possibly, it changes every time I walk by
It called to me.
See you tomorrow!

Hi.

Today.

Shane went to bring his dad to the city today while butter and i stayed home. Spent $10 on groceries. I made a strawberry, blueberry, blackberry cobbler. From here. It was pretty good. I halved it though. And it's still to big. Spent $35 on gas and $43 to get cyrus some food. I made a goat cheese potato salad for lunch along with some grilled chicken.
I used a couple of the blackberries from the backyard. I checked on the garden. Tomatoes still plugging along. Cuke is starting to fill out.
Butter's ear smells terrible! it's the right one that needs cleaning. Dreaming of a few nights in the backyard with Shane.
Saw a couple projects I would love to do. The main one being printing canning labels from here. I work this afternoon yet. Darn.
